Desiree Biesheuvel, MD

Dr. Desiree Biesheuvel is the attending physician on Tyler 4, the Brattleboro Retreat’s inpatient psychiatric unit for children ages 5 through 12. She earned a medical degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands and completed an internship and residency in Psychiatry, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School. Dr. Biesheuvel joined the Brattleboro Retreat in 2004. Since that time she has participated in the training of child and adolescent psychiatry residents at Dartmouth Medical School as a Lecturer.
