Adult Partial Hospital and Hospital Outpatient Service

The partial hospitalization and hospital outpatient program (PHP/HOP) offers a treatment opportunity for clients who are struggling with psychiatric issues and/or substance abuse problems. PHP/HOP allows individuals to receive intensive treatment in a less secure setting than inpatient care.  Often used as a step down from inpatient care, PHP/HOP is also appropriate for individuals needing more intensive services than traditional outpatient provides.  PHP/HOP offers structured programming with a high level of flexibility and further opportunities for individualized treatment.  The treatment philosophy is based on the belief that people are resilient and can make significant changes in how they cope with stress, dramatically improving their overall level of functioning and sense of well-being. Individuals living in the local community have the opportunity to return to their home in the evenings and attend treatment at a pace that fits with their schedule; those coming from a further distance can utilize the private dormitory on Retreat grounds as a housing option.

Housing

Individuals who participate in our on-grounds housing option receive the same level of individualized care as those who commute, but also have the opportunity to practice their learned skills while continuing to live in a community-based environment. At the completion of the treatment day, domicile residents are encouraged to attend 12 Step meetings in the local area and are able to utilize the peer support of other participants. For a minimal fee, participants receive room and board, which may include meals. Utilizing this on-site domicile allows individuals more independence and flexibility with the continued structure and support of the treatment program.
